Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial arts artist fighting for the UFC at the flyweight division,, is a Kyrgyzstani. She's older than fellow UFC fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as an Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner at the competition and defeated Suzane Milliner in a unanimous vote. Antonina continued to win and won a silver medal in 2007 a bronze medal in 2008, a gold medal in 2011 and the 2015 IFMA Amateur Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia started her professional career in with her debut in 2003. She won the World K-1 Championships of WKC Light Welterweight in 2012 and the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships in 2016 as well as both the WMC World Championships and the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina's final fight was with Isa Tidblad-Keskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was victorious by an unanimous vote. Antonina Shevchenko set her first professional MMA record at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan against Anara Bayanova. She was victorious in the second round TKO after which she won 2 more fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to earn a 3-0 record. Shevchenko committed herself to kickboxing, and took a long absence from MMA. She was back in 2017 when she faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by a unanimous vote. She was able to beat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She left the club and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina demonstrated her power of striking by tying Nievera by knees. Antonina's UFC contract was renewed in the wake of this win. Antonina was given the UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi via split decision fight, after prevailing in the initial fight by unanimous decision. Antonina recovered from her defeat and beat Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke and won the fight of the night bonus in the fight. Shevchenko was 1-2 over her next 3 fights. She beat Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
