Kolber, originally from Pennsylvania, earned her graduate degree at University of Miami. Her career in the field began when she was an Assistant Video Coordinator for CBS Sports, New York City. She earned an award for a regional Sports Emmy during her tenure at WTVJ-TV located in Miami. She also worked for WPLG-TV in Miami and WPEC-TV which is located in West Palm Beach, Florida. She joined ESPN in 1993 and was one of the first anchors for ESPN2 that was created. She was employed at ESPN2 for the ensuing three years prior to leaving to join Fox Sports. Then she returned to ESPN, where she currently hosts "Monday Night Countdown.'
